Instructions for use of the article Terbinafine - 1 A Pharma Nail varnish against nail fungus: Terbinafine - 1 A Pharma is a nail varnish containing active substances for the treatment of fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails. The active ingredient terbinafine belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals and kills various fungi that can cause nail infections. The nail polish should be applied to the affected nails once a day for the first 4 weeks and once a week thereafter. The duration of treatment is usually about 6 months for fingernails and 9-12 months for toenails. The nail polish should not be used with other cosmetic products on the nails. When applying, unaffected parts of the body should be avoided as the nail varnish may cause irritation in the eyes or mucous membranes. Application in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
