Directions for use of Septoflam Throat Tablets: Septoflam Throat Tablets are an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiseptic medicine for topical use in the oral cavity. They are used in adults and children aged 6 years and over to treat sore throats associated with mild infections of the mouth and throat (including pharyngitis). The active ingredients in Septoflam throat tablets are benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. These disinfect the mouth and throat and relieve symptoms such as pain, redness, swelling, heat and difficulty swallowing. The recommended dose for adults and teenagers over 12 years is 3-4 lozenges daily. For children aged 6 to 12 years, the recommended dose is 3 lozenges daily. The lozenge should be allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 3-6 hours. The duration of use should not exceed 7 days. If the symptoms do not improve after 3 days or other symptoms such as fever occur, a doctor should be consulted. Septoflam Throat Lozenges must not be used in children under 6 years of age. In case of excessive dosage or accidental ingestion of a large amount, a doctor should be contacted immediately or the nearest hospital should be visited. The ingredients of Septoflam Throat Lozenges may cause side effects such as increased photosensitivity of the skin. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if any disturbances of well-being occur. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended. The medicinal product should not be used if there is a contraindication or intolerance to the ingredients. Septoflam Throat Lozenges should be stored away from light and out of reach of children. The medicinal product should be disposed of in accordance with the instructions in the package leaflet. Important information: Persons with an allergy to painkillers should exercise caution. In case of intolerance to fructose, the sugar content should be taken into account.
