Septoflam throat lozenges are a medicine that has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and antiseptic effects.It is applied locally in the oral cavity.The product is suitable for treating sore throats caused by minor infections of the mouth and throat, including pharyngeal inflammation.It is suitable for adults and children aged 6 and over.

One lozenge of Septoflam throat lozenges contains the following active ingredients: 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride and 1 mg cetylpyridinium chloride.The other ingredients include peppermint oil, levomenthol, sucralose (E955), citric acid (E330), isomalt - type M (E953), citrus fruit aroma, elderflower aroma, curcumin (E100) and chlorophyllin-copper complexes (E141).The citrus fruit flavor contains butyl hydroxyanisole (E320), and curcumin contains sodium benzoate (E211).

Contraindications

Septoflam throat tablets must not be used if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The product is not suitable for children under 6 years.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take 3-4 lozenges daily.The lozenge should be allowed to slowly dissolve in the mouth, every 3-6 hours.Children aged 6 to 12 should take 3 lozenges daily, also allowing them to slowly dissolve in the mouth, every 3-6 hours.Children under 6 years of age must not use Septoflam throat lozenges.Do not use Septoflam throat lozenges with milk as milk can reduce their effectiveness.

Intake

Do not use the throat lozenges immediately before or while eating or drinking.Do not eat or drink anything for at least 1 hour after using the medicine.Using the drug immediately before or after brushing your teeth is not recommended.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using these throat lozenges if you are allergic to salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).The use of this medicine is then not advisable.If you suffer or have suffered from bronchial asthma, caution is advised.You should be careful with open wounds on the mucous membrane or ulcers in the mouth and throat.Do not use the throat lozenges for longer than 7 days.If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days or other symptoms such as:B.
