Information for use of the medicinal product Desloratadine-ADGC 5 mg Film-coated tablets Desloratadine-ADGC is used to relieve allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and urticaria (hives) in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. It contains the active ingredient desloratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. Desloratadine-ADGC controls allergic reactions and relieves associated symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes and skin rash. The recommended dosage is one tablet per day, regardless of meals. The duration of use depends on the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. Desloratadine-ADGC must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to desloratadine, loratadine or any other component of the medicinal product. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use if there is impaired kidney function or a history of seizures in the patient or family. The medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding. In the event of an overdose, headache and fatigue may occur. In this case, it is recommended to contact a doctor immediately. Side effects are possible but do not occur in everyone. Common side effects are tiredness, dry mouth and headache.
