Neo-Angin Benzydamine is used for the symptomatic, local treatment of acute sore throats associated with pain, redness or swelling in the mouth and throat. The active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties. The lozenges should be allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth and should not be swallowed or chewed. The recommended dose is three lozenges per day for adults and children 6 years and older. The duration of treatment should not exceed seven days. The medicine must not be used in children under 6 years of age. For risks and side effects, read the leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. It contains the active substance benzydamine hydrochloride and other ingredients such as isomalt, citric acid monohydrate and aspartame. There are no special storage conditions and the medicine should not be disposed of in waste water.
