Luvos® Heilerde fine acute is a mild medicine that is used for heartburn and acid-related stomach problems.It is available without a prescription.Heartburn occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing a stabbing pain behind the breastbone and often acid belching.Causes can include high-fat food, sweets, fruit juices or being overweight.

Operating principle

The natural healing clay consists of a mixture of minerals and trace elements that bind excess acid.After ingestion, the healing clay forms a protective film over the stressed mucous membrane of the esophagus.Side effects are not known.

Ingredients

1 Gram of the powder contains 1 gram of healing clay.Luvos® healing clay is a purely natural product that is obtained in Germany from Ice Age loess and gently processed.It is free of chemical additives and vegan.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should take 1 to 2 measuring spoons or sachets twice daily.If the symptoms are more severe, the same amount can be taken a third time.It is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age, as these symptoms generally do not occur in children.There are no restrictions on use for older people.

Intake

The powder is stirred into half a glass of water, mineral water or tea and drunk in small sips.It should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before going to bed and, if necessary, half an hour before or after eating.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to healing clay (loess preparation) or have severe kidney function disorders.

Notes

Because of its strong ability to bind other substances, the medicine should be taken one to two hours before or after taking other medicines.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
