GELUSIL LAC Chewable tablets contain the active ingredient aluminum magnesium silicate (1:2:3).This product is available without a prescription.

Areas of application

GELUSIL LAC Chewable tablets are used for acid-related stomach problems.These include heartburn and acid reflux.The tablets can also be used to support the treatment of stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers.

Dosage and instructions for use

Children and adults can take 1 to 3 tablets several times a day.It should be taken 1 to 2 hours before meals and before going to bed.The tablets should be chewed well, sucked slowly or allowed to dissolve in the mouth.You should not use the medicine for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice.

There are no known symptoms of overdose.If you miss a dose, continue taking it normally at the next scheduled time.Pay attention to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and the elderly.The dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package insert.

Contraindications

GELUSIL LAC Chewable tablets must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients, phosphate deficiency, constipation or narrowing of the colon.If kidney function is impaired, the medicine should only be taken after regular monitoring of aluminum and magnesium levels.The medicine must not be used in babies under 1 year of age.

Composition

Mode of action

Important notes
