What is lady's mantle tea and what is it used for?

Lady's mantle tea is a herbal product that is used to relieve non-specific diarrheal diseases.The tea is made by brewing the dried herbs and then drinking it.No prescription is required for this product.

How to use lady's mantle herb tea?

To prepare the tea infusion, 2 teaspoons (approx. 2 g) of lady's mantle herb or the equivalent amount in one or more infusion bags are poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml).After about 10 to 15 minutes, the tea can be strained through a tea strainer and drunk.Unless otherwise prescribed, one cup of the tea infusion is drunk 3 to 5 times a day.

Duration of application

If diarrhea lasts longer than 2 days or is accompanied by blood or an increase in temperature, you should consult a doctor.Without medical advice, the medicine should not be used for longer than 2 days if the symptoms have not improved after this time.

Contraindications

Composition

Lady's mantle herb tea contains lady's mantle herb as an active ingredient.The plant contains tannins such as agrimonin and flavonoids, which are responsible for the therapeutic effect.

How does lady's mantle tea work?

The tannins contained in lady's mantle can react with protein components of the skin to form a protective layer on the (mucous) skin, which is less permeable to water and in this way protects the body from excessive water loss.This protective layer also prevents bacteria and other germs from penetrating small injuries to the skin.The ingredients also have an effect on diarrhea.

Storage

Lady's mantle herb tea should be stored away from light and moisture.It is best to store the product in a tightly closed container and in the dark, for example in the outer box.
