Areas of application

H&S Diarrhea tea is used for non-specific, acute diarrheal illnesses.The tea is particularly suitable if the diarrhea occurs suddenly and there is no known specific cause.

Composition

The active ingredient in H&S diarrhea tea is blackberry leaves (Rubi fruticosi folium).The main ingredients in blackberry leaves are tannins and flavonoids.These substances work together as a natural mixture and help treat diarrhea.

Contraindications

There are no known specific contraindications to the use of H&S diarrhea tea.However, the tea should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients.If you have diarrhea that lasts longer than 2 days or is accompanied by blood or an increase in temperature, you should consult a doctor.Diarrhea in infants and small children generally requires consultation with a doctor.

Precautions and warnings

If you have diarrhea, it is important to pay attention to replacing fluids and salts (electrolytes).To date, there have been no indications of risks from the widespread use of blackberry leaves as medicine or in food.However, there are no sufficient studies on the use of blackberry leaves during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.The use of blackberry leaves is therefore not recommended.

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage instructions and method of application

The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed H&S diarrhea tea differently.You should follow the instructions for use so that the tea can work properly.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults should drink 1 glass/cup of freshly prepared tea 3 times a day between meals.To prepare it, pour boiling water over a filter bag and let it steep, covered, for about 10 minutes.Then remove the filter bag and squeeze it out gently.If you have diarrhea, drink the freshly prepared tea between meals.

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the packaging.Do not use this pack after this date.Store the tea in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture.Do not store above 25°C.Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.
