H&S® Stomach Stimulating Tea

H&S® Stomach Stimulating Tea is a herbal medicine that is used for various stomach problems such as bloating and flatulence.These symptoms can be caused, for example, by insufficient production of gastric juice.The tea can also be used to stimulate the appetite.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The tea is used for stomach problems such as a feeling of fullness and flatulence, which can arise from a lack of gastric juice production, and to stimulate the appetite.

Application

A filter bag is used to prepare a glass or cup of tea.This is poured with boiling water and left to steep for about 10-15 minutes, whereby the bag should be covered.The filter bag is then removed and squeezed out slightly.The freshly prepared tea should be drunk moderately warm about half an hour before meals.

It is recommended to drink a cup of the tea several times a day.

Ingredients

The active ingredients in 2 grams of tea (corresponding to one bag) are:

700 Milligrams of centaury, 600 milligrams of gentian root and 500 milligrams of dandelion.The tea also contains anise and fennel as other ingredients.

Contraindications

H&S® Stomach Stimulating Tea should not be used if you have stomach and intestinal ulcers or if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Warning notice

There is no sufficient experience with the use of H&S® stomach stimulating tea during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, the tea should not be drunk by these groups of people.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of application

The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed H&S® stomach stimulating tea differently.Please adhere to the application instructions, otherwise H&S® stomach stimulating tea cannot work properly!

Drink a cup of tea several times a day.

1 Filter bag for one cup.Pour boiling water (150 milliliters) over it and let it steep, covered, for about 10-15 minutes.Remove the filter bag and squeeze it out gently.Drink the freshly prepared tea moderately warm half an hour before meals.

If symptoms last longer than a week or recur periodically, or if symptoms worsen, we recommend consulting a doctor.Do not use for longer than two weeks.

Side effects

Occasionally, headaches can be triggered in people who are sensitive to bitter substances.

Composition

100 Grams of tea contains:

35 Grams of centaury (Centaurii herba), 30 grams of gentian root (Gentianae radix) and 25 grams of dandelion with root (Taraxaci herba cum radice).Other ingredients include 5 grams of anise (Anisi fructus) and 5 grams of bitter fennel (Foeniculi amari fructus).
