H S Tea Laxative Tea N is used for short-term use in cases of constipation.

Active ingredients and ingredients

H S Tea Laxative Tea N contains the following medicinal plants: senna fruits and caraway.Senna fruits come from two different senna plants: the Alexandrian senna fruits (Sennae fructus acutifoliae), from Cassia senna, and the Tinnevelly senna fruits (Sennae fructus angustifoliae), the fruits of Cassia acutifolia.The effects of these fruits are identical and they have a laxative effect.The fruits of real caraway are known as a spice, and its oil can help with flatulence and cramps.

100 g of tea contains 75 g of Tinnevelly senna fruits (Sennae fructus angustifoliae) as a medicinally active ingredient and 25 g of caraway (Carvi fructus) as an other ingredient.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage and application

No prescription is required for this product.The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed H S Laxative Tea N differently.Please adhere to the application instructions, otherwise H S Laxative Tea N cannot work properly.

Adults and children aged 10 and over should drink a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows once a day.The correct dosage is the lowest required to obtain soft-formed stools.

One filter bag is used for one cup (approx. 150 ml).Pour boiling water over it and let it steep, covered, for about 10-15 minutes.Then remove the filter bag and squeeze it out gently.If possible, drink the tea infusion in the evening before going to bed.The effect usually occurs after 8-12 hours.

The stimulating laxative H S Laxative Tea N must not be used for a long period of time (more than 1-2 weeks) without medical advice.

Patient information

Taking stimulant laxatives beyond short-term use can lead to an increase in intestinal sluggishness.The preparation should only be used if the constipation cannot be resolved through a change in diet or bulking preparations.In incontinent adults, prolonged skin contact with the feces should be avoided by changing the container after drinking the preparation.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Due to insufficient toxicological studies, the product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
