Summary: Grünwalder Sennalax Film Tablets are a herbal stimulant laxative for short-term use in constipation. The dosage is 1-2 tablets per day for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid before going to bed. The effect occurs after about 8-12 hours. Long-term use of stimulant laxatives without medical advice should be avoided. There are some contraindications for which the medicine must not be used, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, abdominal pain of unknown cause and intestinal obstruction. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine. Side effects may occur but are rare. Storage should be below 30°C in the original packaging.
