Areas of application

DNCG iso is used to prevent asthmatic symptoms in allergic and non-allergic asthma.It is important to note that this product is not suitable for treating an acute asthma attack.No prescription is required for this product.

Composition

The inhalation solution contains the active ingredient cromoglicic acid, disodium salt in a concentration of 20 mg per 2 ml of solution.It also contains sodium chloride and purified water as other ingredients.

Dosage form and contents

DNCG iso is available as an inhalation solution.There are packs of 50 and 100 one-dose containers, each containing 2 ml of solution.

Application instructions

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The inhalation solution is intended for local inhalation use only.Prepare the medicine and inhale it using an appropriate device, such as a nebulizer.Please seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist regarding use.It should only be used if safe handling of the medicine is guaranteed.Do not allow children to inhale unsupervised.

Dosage

Children aged 2 years and over and adults should use 1 inhalation ampoule 4 times daily throughout the day.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The dose can be increased under medical supervision.

Contraindications

DNCG iso must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to cromoglicic acid or any of the other ingredients of the drug.Infants and young children under 2 years of age should not use the medicine.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Side effects

After inhalation, hoarseness and irritation of the throat and trachea may occur, which in individual cases can lead to bronchial spasm.In very rare cases, rash, eosinophilic pneumonia and severe hypersensitivity reactions may occur.If you notice any side effects that are not listed in this leaflet, please report them to your doctor or pharmacist.

Application and duration

The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of the illness and is only determined by your doctor.In principle, the duration of use is not limited in time, so the medicine can be used for a longer period of time.The full effect generally occurs after 2-4 weeks.A gradual dose reduction over 1 week is recommended.

Storage

The medicine must be protected from heat and kept in the dark.It should not be stored above 25°C and protected from direct sunlight.Opened containers must be destroyed.
