Active ingredients and composition

The active ingredients of Weleda hay fever spray are citrus limon, succus and aqueous extract of Cydonia oblonga, Fructus rec.These ingredients work together to relieve the symptoms of hay fever.The spray also contains sodium chloride and water for injections as other ingredients.

Application and dosage

Weleda hay fever spray should always be used exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The bottle should be held vertically and shaken before use to ensure even distribution.Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over can use 1-2 sprays in each nostril 2-3 times a day.Children 6-11 years old should receive 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times daily.

The medicine must not be sprayed into the eyes.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.If an application is missed, a double dose should not be used.

Contraindications and precautions

Weleda hay fever spray must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to citrus fruits.If you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.The spray should not be used on children under 6 years of age as there is insufficient experience.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should always consult a doctor or pharmacist before using any medicine.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Weleda hay fever spray can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Irritation of the nasal mucosa may occur.In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage and shelf life

The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.After opening the container, Weleda hay fever spray should not be used for longer than 12 months.There are no special storage requirements, but a temperature of 30°C should not be exceeded.
