Instructions for use of Dolormin GS with naproxen tablets

Dolormin GS with naproxen is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing medicine that is used to treat mild to moderate pain, for example in cases of known osteoarthritis (joint wear).The active ingredient naproxen inhibits the formation of prostaglandins, which are involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.

Important notes

Dolormin GS with naproxen contains the active ingredient naproxen.It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug/analgesic and is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain.The medicine contains lactose, which may be important for people with lactose intolerance.

Dolormin GS with naproxen is used to treat mild to moderate pain, for example in cases of known osteoarthritis (joint wear).It has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One tablet of Dolormin GS with naproxen contains 250 mg of naproxen as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, pre-gelatinized starch (corn), povidone (K 30), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) and purified water.

Contraindications

Dolormin GS must not be taken if you are allergic to naproxen or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.The medicine should also not be used if you have certain previous illnesses or conditions, such as unexplained blood formation disorders, existing or previous stomach/intestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe heart failure (heart failure) and in the last three months of pregnancy.Children under 12 years of age must not take Dolormin GS.

Dosage and application

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over can take 1-2 tablets at the beginning (equivalent to 250-500 mg naproxen) and, if necessary, 1 tablet after 8-12 hours.The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets.If osteoarthritis is known, the dosage can be adjusted depending on the intensity of the pain and fluctuations during the day.Patients with impaired liver or kidney function should not take more than 2 tablets per day.

The tablets should be taken whole with plenty of liquid, if possible before meals.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take it with meals.

Dolormin GS should not be taken for longer than 4 days without medical advice;If osteoarthritis is known, no longer than 5-7 days.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Dolormin GS can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, tarry stools, bloating, flatulence, and abdominal pain.Other possible side effects include headache, dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, irritability, agitation, visual disturbances, skin hypersensitivity reactions, angioneurotic edema, skin bleeding due to impaired blood clotting, water retention (edema) and reduced urine output.

Interactions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.Dolormin GS can influence the effect of certain medicines or its effect itself can be influenced.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Dolormin GS should not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy.As a precaution, the drug should be avoided during breastfeeding.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister strip.
