Instructions for use of Rowatinex soft capsules

Rowatinex capsules are enteric-coated soft capsules for oral use that are used to treat urolithiasis, i.e. the formation of urinary stones in the kidney and urinary tract.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: 24.8 mg alpha-pinene, 6.2 mg beta-pinene, 15 mg camphene, 10 mg borneol, 4 mg anethole, 4 mg D-fenchone and 3 mg cineole.Another ingredient is virgin olive oil.The capsule shell consists of gelatin, glycerol 85%, sodium ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 215), sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 217), yellow orange S 85% (E 110) and quinoline yellow 70% (E 104).

Application

Always take Rowatinex capsules exactly as directed.The usual dose for adults is 1 capsule 4 to 5 times daily before meals.Children from 6 to 14 years of age should take 1 to 2 capsules twice a day without chewing before meals.If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose, but continue with the next dose at the usual time.

Precautions

Rowatinex capsules must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.Particular caution is required if you are taking blood-thinning medicines or are being treated with other medicines that are metabolized and excreted by the liver.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.Rowatinex capsules should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding under the supervision of a doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Rowatinex capsules can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects.

Storage

Keep Rowatinex capsules out of the reach of children and do not store them above 25°C.The medicine must not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste.Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicine if you no longer need it.
