Instructions for use of Rowatinex drops
Rowatinex drops are an oral solution used to treat urolithiasis, which is the formation of urinary stones in the kidney and urinary tract.The active ingredients are a-pinene, ß-pinene, camphene, borneol, anethole, fenchone and cineole.The other ingredient is virgin olive oil.
No prescription is required for this product.Read the entire leaflet carefully as it contains important information for you.However, in order to achieve the best possible treatment success, Rowatinex drops must be taken as directed.
What do you need to consider before taking Rowatinex drops?
Rowatinex drops must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.Particular caution is required if you are taking blood-thinning medicines or are being treated with other medicines that are metabolized and excreted by the liver.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.Rowatinex drops should only be used with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy or on drugs that are metabolized and excreted by the liver.
Before taking any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.Rowatinex drops should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding under the supervision of a doctor.
How should Rowatinex drops be taken?
Always take Rowatinex drops exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: For adults, 3 to 5 drops 4 to 5 times a day before meals or, in the case of colic, 20 to 30 drops 4 to 5 times a day.For children aged 6 to 14, 1 to 2 drops twice a day before meals.
If you have taken more Rowatinex drops than you should, please notify your doctor or pharmacist.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.Take it as soon as you remember and then continue with the next dose at the usual time.
What side effects are possible?
Like all medicines, Rowatinex drops can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects.
How should Rowatinex drops be stored?
Keep medicines out of the reach of children.You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and bottle.Rowatinex drops should not be stored above 25 °C.Keep the bottle tightly closed.
