Thiogamma® Turbo Set - information about the product

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set is a special preparation for the treatment of abnormal sensations caused by diabetic nerve damage (polyneuropathy).The active ingredient in this preparation is alpha lipoic acid, a substance that is naturally formed in the metabolism of higher living beings and has antioxidant properties.These properties protect nerve cells from harmful degradation products.

Areas of application

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set is used for abnormal sensations caused by diabetic nerve damage (polyneuropathy).These can manifest as tingling, numbness, burning or pain in the feet and hands.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One injection bottle of Thiogamma® Turbo-Set contains 1167.70 mg alpha-lipoic acid as meglumine salt, which corresponds to 600 mg alpha-lipoic acid.The preparation also contains the excipients meglumine, macrogol 300 and water for injection purposes.

Dosage and application

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set should always be used exactly according to the instructions in the package insert.If the discomfort is severe, the daily dosage for adults in the initial phase is 600 mg alpha-lipoic acid, corresponding to one injection bottle.The solution for injection is used over a period of 2 to 4 weeks and should be administered slowly as a short infusion over at least 30 minutes.

After the initial phase, treatment can be continued with 300 mg to 600 mg of alpha lipoic acid daily in capsule, tablet or coated tablet form.If you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Thiogamma® Turbo Set should be kept out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the pack.Due to the light sensitivity of the active ingredient, the injection bottle should only be removed from the folding box shortly before use and protected with the enclosed light protection hanging bag.
