Thiogamma® Turbo Set Pure

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set Pur is a neuropathy preparation that is used to treat abnormal sensations caused by diabetic nerve damage (polyneuropathy).The active ingredient alpha-lipoic acid is a natural substance that is formed in the body and has antioxidant properties.These properties protect the nerve cells from harmful degradation products.

Areas of application

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set Pur is used for abnormal sensations such as tingling, numbness, burning or pain in the feet and hands that are caused by diabetic nerve damage.The antioxidant effects of alpha lipoic acid help reduce oxidative stress caused by diabetes-related metabolism.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One injection bottle containing 50 ml injection solution contains 1167.70 mg alpha-lipoic acid, meglumine salt, equivalent to 600 mg alpha-lipoic acid.The other ingredients are meglumine, macrogol 300 and water for injections.

Application

Thiogamma® Turbo-Set Pur should always be used exactly according to the instructions in the package insert.In the case of severe paresthesia caused by diabetic polyneuropathy, the usual dose is 600 mg of alpha lipoic acid daily, corresponding to one injection bottle, in the initial phase of treatment.The injection solution is used over a period of 2-4 weeks and should be administered slowly as a short infusion over at least 30 minutes.Due to the active ingredient's sensitivity to light, the injection bottle should only be removed from the folding box shortly before use.

To continue treatment, 300 mg to 600 mg of alpha lipoic acid should be taken daily in capsule, tablet or coated tablet form.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack.Since alpha lipoic acid is very sensitive to light, the infusion solution must be protected with the included light protection cover.The injection bottles should only be removed from the folding box immediately before use, and then the light protection hanging bag should immediately be pulled over the injection bottle.

Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater.In doing so, you contribute to protecting the environment.
