Instructions for use of Cloderm Liquid 1%

Cloderm Liquid 1% is a broad-spectrum antifungal used to treat fungal skin infections.These infections can be caused by dermatophytes, yeasts such as Candida species, molds and other pathogens such as Malassezia furfur.Typical areas of application are mycoses of the feet, skin and skin folds, pityriasis versicolor and superficial candidiasis.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Cloderm Liquid 1% is clotrimazole.Each milliliter of the solution contains 10 milligrams of clotrimazole.The product also contains the excipients macrogol, propylene glycol and 2-propanol.

Areas of application

Cloderm Liquid 1% is used for various fungal skin infections.These include fungal infections of the skin, athlete's foot, fungal infections of the body folds, interdigital mycosis, pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma and superficial yeast infections of the skin.

Dosage and application

The solution is applied thinly to the affected skin areas using a pipette 2-3 times a day.The duration of use depends on the type and course of the disease.It is important to use it regularly and for a sufficiently long period of time to achieve complete healing.For athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks until the symptoms of the disease disappear.For pityriasis versicolor, the usual treatment period is 1-3 weeks.

Contraindications

Cloderm Liquid 1% must not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.If you are hypersensitive to propylene glycol, macrogol or 2-propanol, another dosage form, such as a cream, should be used.The product is not suitable for use in the ear canal.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Cloderm Liquid 1% can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include skin reactions such as temporary redness, burning or stinging.Allergic skin reactions may occur if you are hypersensitive to propylene glycol and macrogol.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.Clotrimazole should not be used in early pregnancy out of caution.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.
