nasic for children is a nasal spray specially developed for children between 2 and 6 years old.It contains two active ingredients: xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol.Xylometazoline hydrochloride narrows the vessels in the nasal mucosa, causing it to swell and making nasal breathing easier.Dexpanthenol, a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, promotes wound healing and protects the mucous membrane.

Areas of application

nasic for children is used to reduce the swelling of the nasal mucosa when there is a runny nose.It also supports the healing of skin and mucous membrane damage, treats episodic runny nose and helps with nasal breathing obstruction after surgical procedures on the nose.It can also be used for a cold in conjunction with acute inflammation of the nasal sinuses.

Application

nasic for children is intended for use in the nose.Before first use, the spray head should be pumped several times until an even spray mist emerges.The spray head is inserted vertically into the nostril and pumped once.After use, the spray head should be wiped off and the protective cap put back on.

Dosage

Children between the ages of 2 and 6 years can receive one spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily as needed.The dosage depends on individual sensitivity and clinical effect.The medicine should not be used for longer than 7 days unless the doctor orders further use.Reapplication should only be carried out after a break of several days.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in nasic for children are xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol.10 g of solution contains 5 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 500 mg of dexpanthenol.One spray of 0.1 ml solution contains 0.05 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg dexpanthenol.The other ingredients are benzalkonium chloride, potassium hydrogen phosphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate and purified water.

Contraindications

nasic for children must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa with crust formation, after certain surgical procedures on the brain and in infants and small children under 2 years of age.If you have cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, pheochromocytoma and angle-closure glaucoma, you should consult your doctor before use.

Side effects

Possible side effects include irritation in the nose, such as a temporary, slight burning sensation, a feeling of nasal congestion due to increased swelling of the mucous membranes, high blood pressure, increased pulse rate and palpitations.If you feel unwell or change during treatment, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

nasic for children should be kept out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the carton and label.After opening, the medicine must be used within 6 months.No special storage conditions are required.
