Instructions for use for Visco-Vision Gel

Visco-Vision Gel is a viscous, hypotonic wetting gel containing 0.2% Carbomer 980.It is characterized by excellent mucoadhesive properties and evenly moistens the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva.This moisturizes the eyes for a long-lasting and pleasant way.

Areas of application

Visco-Vision Gel is used as a wetting gel for dry eyes, foreign body sensation and visual stress.It can help with various conditions caused by dry eyes, such as Sjögren's syndrome.The gel can also provide relief after diagnostic eye procedures or environmental stress such as air-conditioned rooms, wind, cold, dry or pollutant air.It is also suitable for fatigue and visual stress caused by intensive viewing of computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys.

Application

Visco-Vision Gel is intended for external use only.Before use you should wash your hands thoroughly.To open the tube, turn the screw cap counterclockwise until the safety cap breaks.After opening for the first time, remove the safety ring.

Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand.Hold the tube vertically over the eye and gently press the tube until a small drop forms.Introduce the drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye without touching the eye with the tip of the tube.Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly.After use, close the tube carefully and avoid touching the tip of the tube.

Dosage

Visco-Vision Gel can be used as needed or as directed by your ophthalmologist.Generally, 1 drop of the gel is added to the conjunctival sac 3 to 4 times daily.The gel is suitable for long-term use.However, if symptoms persist for a long time, you should consult an ophthalmologist.If additional local eye treatments are carried out, an interval of 30 minutes should be maintained between applications.Visco-Vision Gel should be applied after the other products.

Composition

The composition of Visco-Vision Gel includes carbomer 980 (0.2%), sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, disodium edetate, cetrimide (0.01%) and purified water.
