General information

Curcu-Truw hard capsules are a herbal medicine that is used for digestive problems, especially functional disorders of the biliary tract.The active ingredient is a dry extract from curcuma rhizome.

Composition

Each hard capsule contains 81 mg of dry extract from curcuma rhizome (13-25:1), obtained with 96% (V/V) ethanol as an extractant, as a medicinally active ingredient.The other ingredients include calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, lactose monohydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, magnesium palmitate, magnesium oleate, talc, gelatin, iron oxide hydrate (E 172), iron (III) oxide (E 172), iron(II,III) oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171) and sodium dodecyl sulfate.The capsules contain carbohydrates, corresponding to approx. 0.02 bread units (BE).

Curcu-Truw hard capsules are used for digestive problems, especially for functional disorders of the biliary system.If you have unclear or recurring symptoms that last longer than a week, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Curcu-Truw hard capsules must not be used if the bile ducts are blocked.If you have gallstones, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.There are no sufficient studies on use in children under 12 years of age, so the medicine should not be used in this age group.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 capsule twice a day.The capsules should be taken whole with liquid during main meals.It should be used for as long as the health problems persist, but not without consulting a doctor.

Side effects

No side effects are to be expected when using Curcu-Truw hard capsules.If side effects still occur, they should be reported to the doctor or pharmacist.

Storage instructions

Curcu-Truw hard capsules should not be stored above 25°C and protected from moisture.The pack must no longer be used if the capsules are broken, deformed or discolored.

Mode of action

The ingredients in Curcu-Truw come from goldenseal, which is obtained from two different medicinal plants.The plant grows to about 1 meter high, has large lily-like leaves and small whitish or reddish flowers.It is mainly found in Southeast Asia.The main active ingredients are curcumin and essential oil.Curcuma acts as a free radical scavenger and stimulates the production and release of bile, which improves digestion, especially of high-fat foods.There is also evidence that turmeric reduces inflammation and inhibits the growth of bacteria.

Caution is advised if you are allergic to spices, essential oils, turpentine oil, cinnamon, birch, poplar buds, propolis, valerian, turmeric, rosin and talc.
