Areas of application
Loratadine - 1 A Pharma 10 mg tablets is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as hay fever.It also helps with chronic idiopathic urticaria, also known as hives of unknown cause.The tablets contain the active ingredient loratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each tablet contains 10 mg of the active ingredient loratadine.The preparation also contains the following excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (vegetable), corn starch and highly disperse silicon dioxide.Please note that the product contains lactose.
Dosage and application
Adults and children aged 6 years and over with a body weight of over 30 kg should take one tablet once a day.The tablet can be taken with a glass of water, regardless of meals.In patients with severe liver damage, it is recommended to take the tablet every other day.Other dosage forms are suitable for children under 6 years of age or with a body weight of 30 kg or less.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Loratadine - 1 A Pharma can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Common side effects in adults and children over 12 years of age include drowsiness and headache.Children 2 to 12 years old may experience headaches, nervousness, and fatigue.Very rarely, severe hypersensitivity reactions, dizziness, convulsions, fast or irregular heartbeat, nausea, dry mouth, upset stomach, liver dysfunction, hair loss, rash and fatigue may occur.
Contraindications
Loratadine - 1 A Pharma must not be taken if you are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.The medicine should not be given to children under 6 years of age or weighing 30 kg or less.It is not recommended to take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
For precautionary reasons, Loratadine - 1 A Pharma should not be taken during pregnancy.Breastfeeding mothers should not use the medicine because loratadine passes into breast milk.
Storage
Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the packaging.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
