Mode of action

The hypertonic solution creates an osmotic pressure gradient between intestinal fluid and plasma, causing increased fluid to flow into the intestinal lumen.This leads to filling and an increase in pressure in the rectum, which physiologically stimulates intestinal peristalsis.

100 ml of the enema contains the following active ingredients and excipients: sodium dihydrogen phosphate 13.91 g, sodium monohydrogen phosphate 3.18 g, sodium benzoate 0.1 g, p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester 0.05 g, sodium hydroxide, purified water, 23.52 g sodium dihydrogen phosphate 2-water, 10.43 g disodium hydrogen phosphate 12-water,Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.

Notes

Enema must not be used on infants, toddlers and children under 12 years of age.
