Application of enema

The enema is used for constipation to achieve rapid and lasting emptying of the rectum.It is also useful in preparation for operations as well as urological, radiographic and gynecological examinations or rectoscopy.

Product features

The enema offers safe and easy handling as well as a quick and reliable effect.The hypertonic solution creates an osmotic pressure gradient between intestinal fluid and plasma, causing increased fluid to flow into the intestinal lumen.This leads to filling and an increase in pressure in the rectum, which physiologically stimulates intestinal peristalsis.

The ready-to-use bottle is specially designed for the rectal enema.A pre-greased special tube minimizes the risk of injury to the rectum.A built-in check valve prevents the recoil of solution containing feces and enables clean application.Defecation occurs within a few minutes.The material of the bottle is environmentally friendly polyethylene.

Ingredients

100 ml of the enema contains the following active ingredients and excipients:

Sodium dihydrogen phosphate 13.91 g, sodium monohydrogen phosphate 3.18 g, sodium benzoate 0.1 g, p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester 0.05 g, sodium hydroxide, purified water, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 2-water 23.52 g, disodium hydrogen phosphate 12-water 10.43 g, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium benzoate.
