Instructions for use for BERBERIL Dry Eye eye drops, 10 ml
Area of application
Berberil® Dry Eye eye drops are a tear substitute that is used for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye symptoms of the cornea and conjunctiva. These can be caused by tear secretion and tear dysfunction, local or systemic diseases and inadequate or incomplete eyelid closure.Symptoms such as burning eyes, foreign body sensation and photophobia due to wind, heat and fatigue can occur. The eye drops are also suitable for wetting and re-wetting hard contact lenses.
The eye drops have proven particularly useful for minor complaints and for moistening the eyes in between. They are also suitable for moistening hard contact lenses. We blink our eyes around 14,000 times every day. With every blink, a thin film of tears is spread over the eye, keeping the surface of the eye smooth, clean and moist and protecting the eye from harmful substances. If the amount or composition of the tear film is disturbed, the cornea and conjunctiva dry out and this leads to burning, dryness, pressure and a feeling of foreign bodies as well as sensitivity to light.
Many people suffer from dry, irritated and burning eyes due to their daily work in front of a screen.Berberil® Dry Eye alleviates the discomfort and makes work a pleasure again.Dry eyes are very uncomfortable for contact lens wearers as they affect daily wearing comfort.Berberil® Dry Eye noticeably increases the comfort of wearing hard lenses all day long.
Heating air, air conditioning, but also smoking and fine dust have an impact on the tear film. These can be stresses that cause dry eye symptoms.During pregnancy, the hormonal balance changes and also affects the tear film.Dry eyes are therefore very often a side effect, but can be relieved with eye drops.
