Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to butylscopolaminium bromide, paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, if you have mechanical strictures in the gastrointestinal tract, if you have a pathological expansion of the colon, if you have urinary retention due to mechanical narrowing of the urinary tract, if you have glaucoma, if you have a pathologically accelerated heartbeat, rapid heartbeat and irregular heartbeat, if you have a special form of pathological muscle weakness or if you have severe onesLiver dysfunction.The medicine is not suitable for treating young people under 12 years of age.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over can take 1-2 film-coated tablets with water up to 3 times a day.The maximum dose is 6 tablets per day.If the pain is more severe you can take 2 tablets.The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid.Buscopan Plus should not be used for longer than 3-4 days without medical advice.

Patient information

Only take the medicine after consulting your doctor if you are a chronic alcoholic, if you suffer from impaired liver function or if you have previously damaged kidneys.If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3-4 days, you need to see a doctor.To prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines taken at the same time do not contain paracetamol.With long-term, improper use of painkillers, headaches may occur, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.In general, habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage.If painkillers are stopped abruptly after prolonged, high-dose, improper use, headaches as well as fatigue, muscle pain, nervousness and vegetative symptoms may occur.Do not take the medicine for a long time or in higher doses.When using the doses intended for the medicine, no impairment of the ability to drive or use machines is normally expected.Store drug out of reach of children!

Pregnancy
