Instructions for use for Pantoprazole beta 20 mg acid gastro-resistant tablets, 7 pcs
Pantoprazole beta 20 mg acid enteric-coated tablets
Pantoprazole beta acid contains the active ingredient pantoprazole, which blocks a type of pump that produces stomach acid.As a result, the amount of acid in the stomach is reduced.Pantoprazole beta acid is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn or acid reflux in adults.Reflux is the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which can become painfully inflamed. This can cause symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in the chest that goes up to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid reflux).Your symptoms of reflux and heartburn may be relieved after just one day of treatment with Pantoprazole beta acid, but this medicine does not necessarily provide immediate relief. To relieve symptoms, it may be necessary to take the tablets on 2-3 consecutive days.
Mode of action
The active ingredient pantoprazole inhibits the so-called proton pumps, which are responsible for the release of stomach acid in the gastric mucosa. It reduces the body's own stomach acid production.
