Areas of application

COPYRKAL Tablets are used to treat mild to moderate pain.These include headaches, toothaches and period pains.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and composition

Each tablet contains 400 mg paracetamol and 50 mg caffeine as active ingredients.In addition, COPYRKAL tablets contains the following other ingredients: corn starch, corn precipitate starch, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethyl starch sodium, crosscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, stearic acid and magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

COPYRKAL Tablets must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or caffeine, in infants and small children due to the prolonged plasma half-life of caffeine, and in children under 12 years of age.

Dosage and application

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age can take 1/2 to 1 tablet up to 3 to 4 times daily.The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.Under medical supervision, the dose can be increased up to 8 tablets per day.The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.Taking it after meals may result in a delayed onset of action.

Side effects

Rarely, skin redness or allergic reactions may occur.Blood formation disorders can occur very rarely.In individual cases, shortness of breath or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.The caffeine content can lead to insomnia, inner restlessness, rapid heartbeat and stomach problems.

Interactions

Taking medicines that stimulate liver metabolism at the same time can increase the risk of liver damage.Taking drugs that affect gastric emptying at the same time can delay or accelerate the onset of action of paracetamol.Caffeine can reduce the effect of sleeping pills and sedatives and increase the effect of drugs that increase the rate of heartbeat.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

COPYRKAL Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy as the safety of their use has not been proven.During breastfeeding, the infant's well-being and behavior can be affected by caffeine ingested through breast milk.If therapy is prolonged or higher doses are taken, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Instructions for use

COPYRKAL Tablets should not be taken for longer than prescribed in the package leaflet without medical advice.Long-term improper use may cause headaches, which should not be treated with increased doses.Habitual use of painkillers can cause permanent kidney damage.

Storage

Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.
