Instructions for use of the article Jelonet Paraffin Gauze 10x10 cm Sterile: - JELONET is a soft paraffin gauze dressing that acts as an anti-adhesive between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows atraumatic dressing changes for the patient. - The open dressing structure allows wound exudate to drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when the dressing is cut. - Properties and benefits: JELONET serves as an adhesion protector between wound and secondary dressing due to the white paraffin coating. This enables a gentle and painless dressing change for the patient as well as undisturbed wound rest JELONET . - 3] is permeable to air and exudate to prevent skin maceration. The ointment coating protects the wound surface and edges. It allows atraumatic dressing changes and undisturbed wound rest. It has analgesic properties. - A secondary dressing is required to use JELONET , e.g. absorbent dressings, film dressings such as OPSITE FLEXIFIX or fixation bandages, depending on the amount of exudate.
