Prontosan Wound Gel is a hydrogel used for cleansing, moisturising and decontaminating acute and chronic wounds and burns. It dissolves wound coatings such as necrosis, fibrin and biofilm while preventing their formation. The gel has a flowable consistency suitable for the treatment of wound cavities. It can be applied with little pain and creates an environment conducive to healing. The product is suitable for repeated and long-term use and has a shelf life of up to 8 weeks after opening.
