Summary: Nicotinell Lozenges 1 mg Mint are used to help smokers quit smoking. The soothing effect of the nicotine contained on the withdrawal symptoms and the desire to smoke prevents a relapse. The dosage for adults is 1 lozenge every 1-2 hours, maximum 8-12 tablets per day. During use, coffee, acidic drinks and soft drinks should be avoided as they may interfere with nicotine absorption. The duration of use should be at least 3 months, after which the number of tablets can be gradually reduced. If the use of lozenges alone is not successful, it can be done in combination with Nicotinell 24-hour patches. It is recommended that combination therapy is done with medical advice and support.
