The preparation is used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, both with and without aura.The medicine is believed to reduce the dilation of blood vessels in the head, which helps relieve headaches and alleviate other migraine symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and noise.The drug's effectiveness in treating aura symptoms, which may occur before the onset of the headache, has not yet been proven.

The medicine contains 2.78 mg of naratriptan hydrochloride, which is equivalent to 2.5 mg of naratriptan.In addition, it contains the following excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium salt, lactose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), Opadry green, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, triacetin, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x-water, indigo carmine aluminum salt and sodium ions.The total amount of sodium ions is 23 mg.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to naratriptan or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It should not be used to prevent migraine attacks.People under the age of 18 or over 65 are also not allowed to take the product.Furthermore, use is contraindicated for heart problems, including angina, heart attack, or symptoms of reduced blood flow to the heart.The medicine must also not be used in cases of spasms of the coronary arteries, peripheral vascular diseases, stroke or mini-stroke, high blood pressure, kidney or liver diseases, circulatory problems in the legs or certain rare forms of migraine.In addition, it should not be taken at the same time as medications containing ergotamine, ergotamine derivatives, methysergide or other triptans.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as directed or as your doctor has told you.If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.The preparation should only be taken if the migraine headache has already begun.Adults between 18 and 65 years of age should take one film-coated tablet equivalent to 2.5 mg naratriptan as soon as possible after the first signs of migraine headache.A second film-coated tablet can be taken at least four hours after the first if symptoms recur.No more than two film-coated tablets may be taken within 24 hours.If the first dose does not provide relief, a second dose should not be taken for the same attack.At least 24 hours should elapse after taking the preparation before administering a preparation containing ergotamine or another 5-HT1 receptor agonist.
The use of the preparation is not recommended in children and adolescents under 18 years of age and in adults over 65 years of age.
In the event of an overdose, you should contact your doctor immediately and take the pack and the instructions for use with you.

If three or more of the following apply to you, you may have an increased risk of heart disease: you are male and over 40 years old or a postmenopausal woman, you are very overweight, you smoke regularly or use nicotine-containing preparations to stop smoking, you are diabetic, you have high cholesterol or a close relative has had heart disease before the age of 60.
Migraine sufferers have an increased risk of certain vascular diseases of the brain.After taking this medicine, you may experience symptoms such as tingling, feeling of heat or heaviness, pressure, tightness, or pain in different parts of the body, including the chest, throat, and neck.If these symptoms last longer than two hours or are particularly intense, a medical examination must be carried out immediately.
Women with migraine who also use combined oral contraceptives have an increased risk of stroke.If you are taking oral contraceptives and you have recently developed migraine symptoms for the first time or your migraine symptoms have worsened, or if you have migraine with aura, you should consult your doctor for advice.
As with other drugs used to treat acute migraine, chronic daily headaches or increased headaches, which may require discontinuation of the drug, have been reported with excessive use of naratriptan.
The medicine must not be used if you are younger than 18 years or older than 65 years.
Both the migraine itself and the use of this medicine can cause tiredness.If you are affected, do not drive a motor vehicle or use machines.
Pregnancy
