Directions for use of the article Cordes BPO 3% Gel: - Cordes BPO 3% Gel is a medicinal product for acne and contains the active substance benzoyl peroxide. - It is used for all forms of endogenous acne, especially in the facial area and on sensitive skin. - You should read the package leaflet before use and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. - The gel is applied thinly to the affected skin once or twice a day and not massaged in. - The preparation should not be applied to healthy skin, eyebrows, in the beard area or the brow hairline and should not come into contact with coloured textiles. - Side effects may include mild skin irritation such as redness, itching, tightness and burning, which usually subside after a few days. - If skin irritation persists or worsens, the preparation should be discontinued and medical advice sought. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discuss the use with their doctor beforehand. - Cordes BPO 3% Gel contains propylene glycol which may cause skin irritation. - The medicinal product should be stored away from heat. Indications: Acne Dosage and directions for use: Apply thinly to affected areas of skin 1-2 times daily Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients Side effects: Local irritation symptoms such as drying, scaling, burning, itching, reddening of the skin Composition: 30 mg benzoyl peroxide, 100 mg propylene glycol, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, purified water Mode of action: Has an antimicrobial effect, regulates sebum production and keratinisation of the skin Important advice: Avoid excessive UV-radiation, solvents may cause skin irritation, interactions with other medicines possible Storage: Protect from heat.
