Corneregel Fluid EDO eye drops are an agent to promote healing of the cornea and a synthetic tear fluid. They are used for the symptomatic treatment of dehydration of the cornea and conjunctiva and for the supportive treatment of the healing of skin and mucous membrane lesions of the eye. The medicinal product contains the active substance dexpanthenol. It must not be used if you are allergic to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients. Contact lenses should be removed before use and not put back in until 15 minutes later. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines you are taking. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use should be coordinated with the doctor. The use of this medicine may cause temporary visual impairment. The medicinal product contains phosphates which, in rare cases, may cause clouding of the cornea. The recommended dosage is 1 drop 3-5 times a day or more frequently. Drop the medicine into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. The application is suitable for continuous therapy, no reactions are known in case of overdose. Possible side effects include eye irritation, hypersensitivity reactions and calcification of the cornea. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date. Corneregel EDO Fluid EDO eye drops are available over the counter and come in single-dose ophtioles.
