Directions for use of the article Adiclair Tablets: - Adiclair 500,000 I.U. film-coated tablets contain the active substance nystatin. - Indications: For topical therapy of proven nystatin-sensitive intestinal yeast mycoses, especially after or during therapy with cytostatics, corticosteroids or antibiotics. For the elimination or reduction of the gastrointestinal yeast reservoir as an adjunct to local therapy of existing oral or vaginal yeast infections. - Dosage: The usual dose is 2 film-coated tablets (1,000,000 I.U. nystatin) 3 times daily for the treatment of yeast mycoses. During therapy with yeast growth-promoting drugs, 1 film-coated tablet (500,000 I.U. nystatin) is taken 3 times daily. To reduce or eliminate yeast growth in the gastrointestinal tract, 1-2 film-coated tablets (500,000 - 1,000,000 I.U. nystatin) are taken 3 times daily. - Route of administration: The film-coated tablets should be taken after meals with sufficient liquid. - Duration of use: For the treatment of yeast infections, you should take Adiclair regularly for at least 2 weeks. Treatment to reduce or eliminate the presence of yeast in the gastrointestinal tract in existing mucosal yeast infections should be continued until the risk of disease has ceased. - Storage: The medicinal product should be protected from heat and stored in the dark.
