Instructions for use for MYKOHAUG C Cream, 50 g

Mykohaug C cream is used to treat various fungal diseases of the skin and mucous membrane. The active ingredient clotrimazole penetrates the affected skin layers and fights the fungus. The cream can be used for athlete's foot, nail fungus, skin fold fungus, fungal infections between the toes or fingers, fungal infections on the nail wall, pityriasis versicolor (skin lichen), erythrasma (dwarf lichen), seborrhoeic dermatitis (skin inflammation with increased sebum production and fungal infestation) and fungal infections on the external genitals of women. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the type of symptoms and is usually 3-4 weeks. If the symptoms persist for longer or recur regularly, a doctor should be consulted. Possible side effects are allergic reactions, blistering, oedema, skin detachment, itching, redness and skin irritation. The package leaflet should be read completely before use.
