Description

Painful gum disease is most often caused by bacteria in the mouth and on the teeth.The product contains chlorhexidine, which inhibits the growth of germs on the skin and mucous membranes.Chlorhexidine adheres to teeth and oral mucosa for a long time and thus effectively protects against the formation of new plaque.This allows the gums to recover.

Areas of application

This mouth and throat antiseptic is used in cases of limited oral hygiene ability, to temporarily reduce the number of germs in the oral cavity or as a supporting therapy for mechanical cleaning in the event of bacterial inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa and after periodontal surgery.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The solution contains chlorhexidine digluconate as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are mint oil, clove oil, polysorbate 80, food colors E123 and E124, ethanol 96% and purified water.

Application

In case of inflammation, the oral cavity is rinsed with a tablespoon of the solution (undiluted) for one minute three times a day after meals and brushing teeth.It should not be rinsed with water.The solution should not be swallowed, but accidental ingestion is harmless.

Contraindications

The product must not be used if you are hypersensitive to chlorhexidine or any of the other ingredients.It should also not be used in tissues with poor blood supply, wounds or ulcers in the oral cavity.

Dosage

Always use the product exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.If you are unsure, please ask.In case of inflammation, the oral cavity is rinsed with a tablespoon of the solution for one minute three times a day after meals and brushing your teeth.If the effect is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If you use more than you should, you may experience stomach upset, vomiting or signs of alcohol poisoning.However, a harmful absorption of the active ingredient is not to be expected.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

Particular caution is required in the case of superficial, scaly changes in the oral mucosa.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy

Before using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.There is no sufficient experience with its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Therefore, the product should only be used with particular caution.Large-area application should be avoided.

Notes

The product should not be mixed with other solutions as this may affect its effectiveness.It contains amaranth and Ponceau 4R, which can cause allergic reactions.Contains 24% alcohol by volume.Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package.
