Area of application

This mouth and throat antiseptic is used when the ability to maintain oral hygiene is limited to temporarily reduce the number of germs in the mouth.It also serves as a supportive therapy for mechanical cleaning in cases of bacterial inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa and after periodontal surgery.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The preparation contains 1 mg chlorhexidine digluconate and 0.56 mg chlorhexidine as active ingredients.The excipients include amaranth, cochineal red A, ethanol 96% (V/V), mint oil, clove oil, polysorbate 80 and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to chlorhexidine bis (D-gluconate) or any of the other ingredients.It should also not be used in tissues with poor blood supply, wounds or ulcers in the oral cavity.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.In case of inflammation, the oral cavity is rinsed with a tablespoon of the undiluted preparation for one minute three times a day after meals and brushing teeth.Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if the effect is too strong or too weak.

If you use more than you should, you may experience stomach upset, vomiting or signs of alcohol poisoning.However, the active ingredient chlorhexidinebis (D-gluconate) is not expected to be harmful to health.

If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.If you have any further questions about use, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Intake

In case of inflammation, the oral cavity is rinsed with a tablespoon of the undiluted preparation for one minute three times a day after meals and brushing your teeth.Do not rinse with water.The solution should not be swallowed, but accidental ingestion is harmless.

Patient information

Particular caution is required in the case of superficial, scaly changes in the oral mucosa.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

Always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any medication.There is no sufficient experience or research on the safety of using chlorhexidine bis (D-gluconate) during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Therefore, the preparation should only be used with particular caution and large areas should be avoided.
