Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Thuringian valerian tincture is tincture made from valerian root in a ratio of 1:5.The extractant is ethanol with a proportion of 70% (v/v).

Application

The recommended dosage is half a teaspoon full (approx. 1.5 ml) 2 to 3 times a day for calming purposes.If you have trouble sleeping, take a teaspoonful (approx. 3 ml) half an hour before going to bed, diluted with a little water.If the effectiveness is insufficient, an additional teaspoonful can be taken before dinner.

Notes

Thuringian valerian tincture contains 66% alcohol by volume.If the dosage instructions are followed, up to 1.6 g of alcohol is added per 3 ml.This medicine should not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the pack.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

When taking Thuringian valerian tincture, the ability to react can be impaired, which can affect the ability to actively participate in traffic or operate machines.This applies even more in combination with alcohol.
