Directions for use of the article Fibrex Tablets Fibrex Tablets contain the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid and paracetamol and are used to treat mild to moderate pain. They should only be used according to the package leaflet and the instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist. Before taking Fibrex Tablets, you should note that they must not be taken if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, have gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, suffer from liver or kidney impairment, severe heart muscle weakness or an increased tendency to bleed. Pregnant women, children under 12 years of age and people taking methotrexate should also not use Fibrex Tablets. It is important not to take Fibrex Tablets for longer than 3 days or in higher doses unless advised to do so by your doctor or dentist. The simultaneous use of other anti-inflammatory medicines or anti-coagulant medicines should be avoided to reduce possible side effects. There is a slightly increased risk of heart attacks and strokes when using Fibrex Tablets, especially at higher doses and for longer periods of treatment. People with heart problems or at increased risk of these conditions should talk to their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Fibrex tablets may also have side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, skin and cardiovascular system.
