Ibuflam akut 400 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-inflammatory and painkilling medicine containing the active substance ibuprofen. They are used to treat mild to moderately severe pain and fever in adults and children over 20 kg (6 years and older). The recommended dosage for children aged 6-9 years is 1/2 film-coated tablet (corresponding to 200 mg ibuprofen), for children aged 10-12 years 1/2 film-coated tablet (corresponding to 200 mg ibuprofen) and for adolescents and adults 1/2-1 film-coated tablet (corresponding to 200-400 mg ibuprofen). The maximum daily dose is 3 film-coated tablets (corresponding to 1200 mg ibuprofen). The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid during or after a meal. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days in children and adolescents and 3 days in adults for fever or 4 days for pain. If symptoms persist or worsen, medical advice should be sought. Ibuflam akut 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored above 25 °C.
