Directions for use of Ibuflam akut 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets: Ibuflam akut 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance ibuprofen and belong to the group of anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicines. They are used to treat mild to moderately severe pain and fever in adults and children over 20 kg. It is important that you only take Ibuflam akut 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets according to the package leaflet and do not use them for longer than 3 days in children and adolescents and for longer than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain in adults. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you should seek medical advice. The dosage of Ibuflam akut 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets depends on the age and body weight of the patient. In children aged 6-9 years, the single dose is 1/2 film-coated tablet, in children aged 10-12 years the single dose is also 1/2 film-coated tablet and in children weighing 40 kg or more, adolescents and adults the single dose is 1/2-1 film-coated tablet. The maximum daily dose for children is 1 1/2 film-coated tablets and for adolescents and adults 3 film-coated tablets. The maximum single dose should not be exceeded every 6 hours. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably during or after a meal. For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the tablets during meals. The lowest effective dose should be used and the duration of use should be as short as possible to relieve the symptoms.
