Area of application

This medicine is intended for the external treatment of fungal skin diseases.It is used for various types of fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts such as Candida species, molds and other pathogens.These include athlete's foot, fungal infections of the skin and skin folds, pityriasis versicolor and superficial yeast infections (candidiasis).

The pump spray is not suitable for use on mucous membranes or in the genital area.

No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The active ingredient in this medicine is clotrimazole with a concentration of 10 mg per milliliter.It also contains the excipients isopropyl alcohol, macrogol 400 and propylene glycol.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.If you are unsure, please ask.

The usual dose is a thin spray twice daily on the affected areas.You should press the spray button once or twice per application.The spray distance should be between 10 and 30 cm.

The duration of treatment varies depending on the extent and location of the disease.It is important to use it regularly and for a sufficiently long period of time.Treatment should not be stopped after the acute symptoms have subsided, but should be continued for at least four weeks.For bran fungus, treatment usually lasts one to three weeks.In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about two weeks until all signs of the disease have disappeared.

If you forget to use an application, do not use a double dose.Simply continue using as usual.For successful treatment, it is important to stick to the intended duration of use, even if you already feel better.

Intake

Before use, remove the transparent protective cap.Depending on the application location, the bottle can be held vertically downwards or with the spray head upwards.When using for the first time, press the spray head several times until a fine spray mist is created.Spray the solution onto the affected skin areas.

When treating athlete's foot, the feet should be dried thoroughly after each washing, especially the spaces between the toes.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.It is intended for external use on the skin only and must not get into the eyes or be used on mucous membranes and in the genital area.

No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding mothers should not use the medicine on the breast area to avoid direct contact of the infant with clotrimazole.

Notes

Do not get the medicine into your eyes.Appropriate hygienic measures, such as regular linen changes, should be carried out during use.
