Directions for use of the article Lotio Zinci Oxidati Sr Pharmachem: Lotio Zinci Oxidati Sr is an emulsifier-containing lotion with the active ingredient zinc oxide. It is used for the treatment of acute and subacute skin diseases, as zinc oxide has a covering and protective effect and can bind secretions. It is used by applying the lotion to the affected area of the skin, applying it 2-3 times a day and then allowing it to dry. Do not use the lotion if you are hypersensitive to zinc or other components of the lotion, or if it is applied to more than 20% of the body surface. Caution should also be exercised when applying to skin areas larger than 20% of the body surface, as this may cause localised skin irritation. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should only use the lotion according to the dosage instructions and avoid large-area application, especially in the breast area. Care should be taken to ensure that residues containing zinc oxide are completely removed before applying other dermatics, as this may affect the efficacy of other products. Side effects are rare and may include allergic reactions, skin redness, tightness, drying sensations and skin changes. The lotion should not be used after the expiry date and residues should be washed off instead of rubbed off to avoid irritation of the skin. Lotio Zinci Oxidati Sr contains 25 g of zinc oxide per 100 g of lotion, as well as additional ingredients such as alkanoate, glycerol, non-ionic emulsifying alkanols, potassium sorbate, citric acid and purified water.
