Area of application

This paste is used to protect and treat the skin in acute and subacute dermatoses.Zinc oxide has a covering, protective effect and binds secretions.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The paste contains 300 mg zinc oxide as an active ingredient.The auxiliary ingredients include peanut oil (refined), sorbitan trioleate, yellow petroleum jelly and wool wax alcohols.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to zinc or any of the other components of the paste.

Dosage and application

The paste should be applied to the affected skin areas several times a day.For infants, this is the case every diaper change.If necessary, the treated area can be covered with gauze.The duration of application is not limited.

No prescription is required for this product.

Patient information

It should be avoided to use the paste on large areas of skin covering more than 20 percent of the body surface.In addition, the paste must not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, as wool wax can cause localized skin irritation.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If used properly and following the dosage instructions, the product can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, large area application, particularly on the breasts of breastfeeding women, should be avoided.
