Instructions for use for MIRFULAN Wound and healing ointment, 50 g

Mirfulan is a wound and healing ointment used for the covering-protective and secretion-binding treatment of non-infected acute and subacute skin damage such as napkin dermatitis. The active ingredient in the ointment is zinc oxide, which has a covering-protective effect. If there is no improvement in the affected skin area or the symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. The ointment is applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day, as needed. Ointment residues can be removed with warm soap solution. Use the medicine according to the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. The ointment must not be used if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients or has infected skin sites. If used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, large-scale application should be avoided.
