Areas of application

The product is used to relieve constipation, to facilitate bowel movements before rectal examinations, or to soften stool in hemorrhoids to facilitate bowel movements.It is a laxative intended for use in cases of constipation, preparation for rectal examinations, and softening of stools in cases of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The product contains 1 g of glycerol as an active ingredient.The other ingredients are basic magnesium carbonate, polysorbate 80 (vegetable) and hard fat.Glycerin forms a slippery film on the intestinal wall, softens hardened stools and promotes intestinal movements, but is not absorbed by the body.This makes it easier for the hard stool to be excreted.

Contraindications

The product must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, have intestinal obstruction (ileus) or have unclear abdominal pain.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed, it is recommended to insert 1 suppository into the intestine 1 to 2 times a day about 20 to 30 minutes before the intended emptying.To remove a suppository, after bending the perforation several times, it is torn from the strip or separated using scissors.The foil leaves lying loosely together on the tip of the suppository are grasped with the thumb and forefinger of each hand and carefully pulled apart until the suppository can be removed from the foil cover.Immediately before use, moisten the suppository with a little water and then insert it into the anus with the tip first.The suppository is best moistened and carefully inserted deep into the anus.To improve glide, it can be warmed in your hand or briefly dipped in hot water.
