Instructions for use for Glycerin suppositories Rösch 3 g against constipation, 10 pcs
Glycerin suppositories rosehip
Glycerin suppositories Rösch are a medical product that promotes natural stool regulation and enables easy bowel movements. They have a gentle laxative effect and are gentle on the intestinal flora. These suppositories are suitable, for example, for hemorrhoidal disease, prolonged bed rest, constipation in children or after operations when straining during bowel movements should be avoided. No prescription is required for this product.
Application
Glycerin suppositories Rösch should best be inserted into the anus in the morning shortly before getting up.The effects begin after 15 to 60 minutes. It is advisable to delay emptying for a while after inserting the suppository so that the hardened stool masses can be sufficiently softened.
Ingredients
Each suppository contains 3g glycerol.Other ingredients include stearic acid, sodium carbonate and purified water.
Areas of application
Glycerin suppositories Rösch are used to treat constipation. They are suitable for regulating bowel movements when easy passage is particularly desired, for example in the case of hemorrhoidal disease, prolonged bed rest, in the elderly and children, after operations, during pregnancy and breastfeeding or when other remedies should not be used. The suppositories have a physical water-attracting effect and stimulate the mucous membrane of the rectum to release water, which makes the thickened contents slippery. The simultaneous increase in volume triggers the defecation reflex after a short time.
Contraindications
Glycerin suppositories Rösch must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to glycerin or any of the other ingredients of Glycerin suppositories Rösch.
Warnings and precautions
The dosage (1 g suppository) should be taken into account, especially for infants and small children. In the event of persistent intestinal disturbances, the focus should always be on clarifying the cause. It is not recommended to carry out the treatment regularly over a long period of time without having the causes of the intestinal sluggishness clarified by a doctor. In cases of chronic constipation, natural intestinal regulation should also be aimed for with fiber-rich food (fruit, vegetables) and sufficient fluid intake.
Use together with other medications
So far no interactions have been reported. In stubborn and severe cases of constipation, it may be advisable to take a laxative that does not work immediately the evening before and to use a glycerin suppository Rösch in the morning.
